Business Development Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow with us at Sight & Sound Productions! As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible generating new business by targeting large-scale events that need both AV and décor services. You’ll build relationships with corporate and social event planners, venues, and organizations that host multiple events annually.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on corporate, social, and large-scale events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with event planners, corporate clients, and venues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, estimates, and presentations that align with client goals.
• Understand client needs and position Sight & Sound Productions as the premier solution for AV and décor services.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
• Track and report sales activities, pipeline, and revenue projections.
• Partner with project managers and production teams to ensure smooth handoff and exceptional execution for booked events.

• Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales in the events, hospitality, or AV industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
• Willingness to travel throughout Florida for client meetings and events.
• Understanding of AV technology and event décor, along with a strong network of contacts with corporate and social event planners and venues, is a plus.
