Who You'll Work With

As a member of the Finance team, you will partner with teams across balance sheet and capital planning to provide financial leadership.

  • Act as an effective and trusted business partner.
  • Provide actionable insights and analysis, influencing business partners and accelerating decision‑making.
  • Be a prudent and efficient allocator of capital, optimizing return on capital while balancing balance sheet strength and growth.
  • Focus on process improvement: build an efficient operating model and reengineer end‑to‑end processes, eliminating manual work.
About the Role

The senior analyst supports risk‑based capital production, modeling, analytics, and forecasting to optimize the company’s capital, dividends and financial strength. The role will work with Capital Planning & Analysis, Corporate Actuarial, Investments, Accounting, Treasury, Reinsurance, and Rating Agency Relations.

Reports to:

AVP, Capital Planning & Analysis – Domestic.

Responsibilities
  • Calculate U.S. insurance company risk‑based capital for statutory reporting.
  • Implement change management for new tools, templates, and technology to improve capital planning.
  • Participate in technical analyses and projects with other teams.
  • Maintain model governance processes and best practices.
  • Engage in discussions with Actuarial, Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory teams on capital matters.
  • Assist with forecasts of U.S. insurance company risk‑based capital calculations.
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in the financial industry required; actuarial, risk management, treasury experience in insurance preferred.
  • Experience with risk‑based capital frameworks a plus.
  • A degree in a quantitative field preferred; professional certification (CFA, CPA, ASA) or progress towards such certification is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of financial and insurance risk modeling.
  • Responsive to leadership requests and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration and partnership skills with key stakeholders.
  • Problem‑solving aptitude and ability to identify the right questions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present to senior finance members.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and coding experience (Python, SQL, C+).
Compensation

Salary range: $64,000 – $100,000, plus discretionary bonus. Eligibility and benefits details below.
