Overview

Tatum is working with a client that is in the service/hospitality industry that is looking to hire a senior financial analyst on a direct hire basis. Our client is seeking an accounting professional with a blend of accounting and analytical experience that has worked in public accounting and has their CPA. The person taking on this role would be responsible for handling the following duties

• Assist with the month end close (reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and assist with financial statement preparation).
• Assist with month financial reporting duties.
• This candidate would also be responsible for preparing SOX documentation and compliance.
• The company will be going through some acquisitions in the next year, so this person would be responsible for taking on some due diligence work related to those acquisitions.
• The Senior Financial Analyst would also be working closely with the external auditors during year end.
• Prepare financial models related to acquisitions and financial projections.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required
• CPA and prior experience working in public accounting is a "must have"
• 3-6 years of accounting experience is required
• Advanced excel skills are required
• Strong communication skills are a must for the opportunity
