Senior Tax Analyst

Jobot Consulting is looking for an experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team.

Base Pay: $35.00/hr – $45.00/hr this role is located in Orlando, FL and offered as a contract position.

• Provide tax consulting services to clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Manage and execute tax‑related projects, including preparation and review of tax returns and tax provisions.
• Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations, including lodging taxes, gross receipt tax, Canadian HST/GST, and local indirect tax laws.
• Monitor and analyze tax rate changes to determine their impact on clients and our company.
• Calculate tax liabilities and advise clients on tax planning strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate tax strategies into financial decisions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert advice and guidance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax analyst or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including lodging taxes, gross receipt tax, Canadian HST/GST, local indirect tax laws, and tax rate changes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• CPA or CTA designation is preferred.
