Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional client service to multi-state companies regarding property tax compliance.
- Review and evaluate information included in property tax returns before, during, and after preparation.
- Assist with property tax bill payments and return preparation using Property Tax Management Services (PTMS).
- Review assessment notices to identify discrepancies and elevate issues as needed.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience
, including at least two years in personal property tax compliance
, specifically preparing property tax returns, managing bill payments, and reviewing valuation notices using PTMS (Property Tax Software — required). - Bachelor’s degree required; J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, MST
, or CMI (Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation) preferred. - Experience with additional tax types and an understanding of how they impact property tax.
- Strong knowledge of property tax planning, development, and execution processes.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and personal accountability, with a commitment to maintaining a respectful and courteous work environment.
$40-$64/hour
