Large Hospitality Group, Orlando – Senior Tax Analyst

Base pay: $30.00/hr – $40.00/hr

• Conduct detailed tax analysis for strategic planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal tax laws.
• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all financial data.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns, declarations, and other required documents.
• Research tax laws and regulations to optimize tax liabilities and ensure full compliance.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting team members to streamline tax processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
• Provide expert tax advice to senior management, guiding strategic decisions and planning.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the company is prepared for any changes.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for tax-related items.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with strong focus on general ledger management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-financial colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
