Special Agent – Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

This position is advertised under the federal civilian hiring freeze exemption. As an FBI special agent, you will directly impact national security by conducting high‑stakes investigations, leveraging your expertise in cybersecurity, and collaborating with law‑enforcement partners across the globe.

• Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
• Exercise judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility in meeting investigative demands.
• Create and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law‑enforcement agencies.
• Maintain a level of physical fitness to ensure readiness to perform law‑enforcement duties.

• U.S. citizen.
• Must obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
• Willing to travel as required.
• Meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.

Base pay range: $97,300 – $125,544 per year. Pay level for this position: $99,461 – $128,329 per year. Salary is commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay.
