Candidate Responsibilities

• Contact constituents/complainants to discuss details of the complaints filed.
• Read state statute and compare with complaints to analyze the issue.
• Communicate with the public; good customer service skills are a MUST.
• Advise complainant of the Division's jurisdiction and that the case is being closed, and for what reason.
• Provide any resources or referrals as appropriate.
• Send a written correspondence to the complainant once approved by the supervisor.
• Close the case by adding the appropriate codes/activities/statutes in Versa.
• Document the actions in the OnBase system.

• Communicate verbally and in writing appropriately.
• Read and interpret Florida statutes.
• Previous experience working with the public in a professional environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Commit to the project timeline.
• Ability to speak and understand English – Required.
• High school diploma – Required.
• Excellent written and oral communication with the public – Required.
• Ability to read and interpret Florida State Statutes – Required, 1 year of experience.
• Experience working with the public in a professional work environment – Required, 3 years.
• Experience working with the public and analyzing complaints – Required, 1 year.
• Experience using Versa – Highly desired.
• Experience using OnBase system – Highly desired.
