CLINICAL APPLICATIONS ANALYST (CERNER) – University Behavioral Center, Orlando, FL
Position SummaryThe Clinical Application Analyst acts as a clinical liaison between the Corporate IS Department and the BH facility. Performs duties associated with the implementation, support, and maintenance for all aspects of the clinical information system. Duties include basic computer and peripherals troubleshooting, problem tracking, resolution, enhancement requests, active participation in system testing, workflow redesign, change management, and ongoing Cerner education to facility employees and physicians.
ResponsibilitiesUniversity Behavioral Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), is committed to providing intensive mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults as well as detox and substance abuse programs for adults. The facility is located on a beautiful 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida and includes 112 licensed beds.
As Clinical Applications Analyst, you will collaborate with end users to determine software specifications, hardware requirements, and process improvement workflows, ensuring optimal clinical system performance and user satisfaction.

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Direct patient care experience preferred. Extensive working knowledge of clinical information systems (Cerner preferred) showing progressively increasing responsibilities. Minimum of three years of information services or super-user experience. Ability to work with end users to determine software specifications, hardware requirements and process improvement workflows. Comfortable and confident interacting with physicians and clinicians at all levels. Exhibits or has performed in a leadership role.
Clinical knowledge required.
