Pharmacist, Healthcare

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions issued by physicians or other authorized prescribers to ensure accuracy and determine the necessary formulas and ingredients.
• Compound sterile and non-sterile medications using standard formulas and processes, including weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Direct pharmacy employees involved in mixing, packaging, labeling, and modifying prescription orders.
• Ensure the accurate intake and efficient fulfillment of prescription orders.
• Dispense medications and offer support and counsel to nursing facility staff on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Advise physicians about medication therapy.

• Pharmacy license in the State of Florida.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in pharmacy management and prescription refills.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment.

• Retail experience in a high-volume environment is highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Leadership abilities to coordinate multiple associates and provide direction.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or other Windows-based software programs.
• Ability to stand for the entire work period.
• Long-term or closed-door pharmacy experience as a Pharmacist is preferred but not required.

This position requires 40-hour work weeks with the potential for overtime. The schedule is from Sunday to Thursday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (2nd shift). Training will take place on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The role involves working in a fast‑paced retail environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Orlando, FL.

The pay range for this position is $61.00 - $63.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Orlando, FL.
