Palm Beach, Martin, and Broward Counties

Gait Mechanics is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to provide services in patients' homes in Palm Beach, Martin, and Broward Counties. We offer the ability to set and manage your own schedule and provide competitive compensation.

• Perform patient evaluations and establish treatment interventions in accordance with the Florida Speech-Language Pathology Practice Act.
• Implement treatment interventions following the speech therapy plan of care established during evaluation.
• Complete Progress Notes and Re-assessments to monitor patient response to treatment every 10 visits or sooner as appropriate.
• Conduct patient and caregiver training sessions to promote compliance with intervention techniques post-discharge.
• Communicate effectively with the clinical team, including but not limited to SLP, OT, PT, and PCP.

• Experience with dementia and Parkinson’s disease preferred

All clinicians meet monthly for educational sessions covering topics such as joint mobilizations, neurodynamics, exercise progression and regression, and blood flow restriction. Ask other potential employers if they meet regularly to enhance their clinical skills.
