Job Description

• The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients visiting for routine health checks or important diagnostic procedures.
• The PSR I is responsible for collecting quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring a safe, accurate, and professional patient experience.
• This role requires a high level of skill, compassion, and confidentiality in handling patient information while maintaining a positive and trustworthy environment.

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
• Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and leadership behaviors.

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed.

• Minimum of 6 months of experience required; 1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
