Responsibilities and Duties:
- Enter and process new and refill prescriptions, supplies, and equipment requests accurately
- Communicate with prescribers and patients to obtain prescription authorizations, clarifications, and schedule deliveries
- Support pharmacists by preparing prescriptions, labeling, packaging, and forwarding orders for verification
- Adjudicate pharmacy claims and resolve related issues
- Select appropriate medications, supplies, and ancillaries based on patient and medication needs
- Prepare and pack prescriptions for shipment, generate shipping labels, and ensure client-specific materials are included
