Job Description- Monitors and evaluates critical cardiac rhythms and EKG analysis in‑person and from remote transmissions based on global billing periods.
- Interrogates, interprets, and re‑programs cardiac devices, providing full disclosure reports for physician approval and entry to EMR.
- Monitors heart failure reports remotely for ICD and CRT devices monthly, providing full disclosure reports to the cardiologist per notification protocol for approval and entry to EMR.
- Evaluates remote alerts daily from all device websites, retrieves and triages information, and prepares full disclosure reports for physician approval based on notification protocols.
- Determines when adequate test results have been obtained and consults supervisor when results are not adequate.
High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required). Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS). Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT). Certified EKG Technician (CET). Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES). Other relevant certifications as appropriate.
Pay Range$21.56 – $40.09 per hour.
