FullTime Inpatient and Outpatient - Urology APRN or PA-C
Advent Health Medical Group Urology at Altamonte Springs provides the most advanced surgical and non‑surgical treatments for urology conditions affecting both men and women, using minimally invasive, laparoscopic procedures and the acclaimed da Vinci® Surgical System. Patients with urologic disorders can find healing, often with same‑day service.
General SummaryThe PA or APRN, under the supervision of the physician, is responsible for:
- Performing physical examinations of patients and evaluating and treating acute and chronic urologic conditions, including urologic oncology, in the clinic and hospital setting.
- Ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory studies, X‑ray, etc.
- Monitoring the patient's course of treatment and making appropriate referrals to either a physician or specialist as needed.
- Collaborating with physicians and staff as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff.
- Always displaying a caring and professional attitude while maintaining personal and professional growth.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public.
- Schedule:
Monday‑Friday - Rotating weekends
- Campus covered:
Altamonte Springs
- Master’s degree in nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA‑C) studies
- One to two years of experience in Urology, Internal Medicine, or Hospitalist
- Current, valid Florida PA or APRN license
- Certification by NCCPA, ANCC, or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); current, valid DEA license
