Registered Dietitian I – Advent Health
Join the Advent Health Team as a Registered Dietitian I and provide high-quality dietary guidance as part of our healing ministry.
Job Description / Responsibilities- Completes nutrition-focused physical assessments, takes measurements, reviews medical records, collects data via interviews, and evaluates anthropometric status.
- Evaluates assessment data to identify nutrition risks, nutrition problems, criteria consistent with malnutrition, knowledge deficits, and high-risk health behaviors.
- Offers nutrition interventions, orders, education, counseling, and referrals to other services.
- May place feeding tubes or perform indirect calorimetry studies.
- Provides counseling and education using evidence-based techniques that reflect appropriate health literacy and cultural sensitivity to patients with disease processes requiring nutritional management.
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Certified Dietitian (CD) – accredited issuing body
- Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) – accredited issuing body
- Licensed Dietitian (LD) – accredited issuing body
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) – accredited issuing body
