Position SummaryThe Mental Health Tech provides direct care to children, adolescents and adult patients with psychiatric disorders to ensure the safety and well‑being of the patients. MHTs have the primary responsibility for ensuring the patient’s safety on the unit.

- Facilitating Therapeutic Groups
- Conducting Searches and Securing Contraband
- Assisting with Daily Living Skills
- Patient Behavior and Milieu Management
- Documentation in the Patient Record

- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two years experience working in a psychiatric setting
- CPR (may be acquired after hire)
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Teamwork
- Hours:
Day Shift 7 AM – 7 PM (rotating weekends required)
