American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist for a CVOR unit position requiring a minimum of 3 years of open heart surgery experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in open heart surgery and heart failure cases
- CST certification required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
- License required if applicable
- COVID vaccination card or approved declination required for consideration
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital CVOR unit
- 13-week travel assignment with 3x12-hour shifts from 7a-7p
- Weekend and call requirements apply
- Heart failure, lung, and heart transplant cases preferred
- Lung and heart transplant case experience is preferred
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as traveler rate
- No radius rule for candidate eligibility
- Former permanent employees must have a 90-day break in service before returning as a traveler
