The ideal candidate will have at least two years of clinical monitoring experience, a strong understanding of clinical trial site management, and experience conducting all types of monitoring visits. This role offers a hybrid monitoring model, a manageable site portfolio, and no on-site productivity metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site and remote clinical monitoring visits to ensure compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 2–3 clinical study protocols and 8–10 investigative sites.
  • Perform all types of monitoring visits, including site initiation, interim monitoring, and closeout visits.
  • Monitor site performance, review study documentation, and ensure accurate and complete clinical trial data.
  • Identify, document, and support the resolution of protocol deviations, compliance concerns, and site-level issues.
  • Collaborate with clinical operations teams and investigative site personnel to support study timelines and quality objectives.
  • Travel approximately 50% of the time, averaging 6–8 monitoring visits per month.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four-year degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical research monitoring experience as a CRA.
  • Experience supporting General Medicine clinical trials preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting all types of clinical monitoring visits.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple protocols and a portfolio of approximately 8–10 sites.
  • Strong knowledge of GCP, clinical trial regulations, monitoring practices, and clinical documentation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
Additional Details
  • Sites will generally be assigned within the CRA’s home state or within a short, direct flight; neighboring states may be included.
  • Monitoring will be a combination of on-site and remote visits.
  • No on-site productivity metrics.
  • Collaborative team environment with a strong emphasis on employee retention and support.
