Occupational Therapist Assistant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team as a Contractor. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with occupational therapists to provide high-quality patient care. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in assisting patients in achieving their therapeutic goals and improving their overall quality of life.

• Ability to commute to patients home
• Ability to commute to cases in the general area of Hollywood, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Weston, and Miami Gardens
• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or certification as required by local regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in home health environments.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• A commitment to providing high-quality care that promotes patient independence and well-being.
• Availability to work weekends and short notice as needed.

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing individualized care plans for patients.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising occupational therapist.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress notes.
• Timely documenting visits.
