Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train future Team Members promoting the Evermore brand, guiding principles, and service delivery culture.
  • Manage, approve Team Member timecards, payroll, and time‑off requests.
  • Prepare work schedules to meet resort demands and occupancy levels.
  • Direct and manage all resort transportation challenges, including route changes, operating hours, and guest incidents & claims.
  • Plan resort fleet needs and SOP’s. Assist in the creation of RFP’s for new equipment and negotiation of vendor agreements.
  • Manage fleet inventory, maintenance service, accident reports with the insurance carrier, and guest injuries calls.
  • Resolve problems immediately by involving only those necessary to achieve positive results for the resort and customer. Shares limited internal operational details with customers to resolve issues.
  • Conduct periodic training exercises for all resort Team Members operating company vehicles, golf carts, and service moving equipment.
  • Track vehicle inspections, registration cards, and insurance cards for annual expiration.
  • Schedule and negotiate vehicle maintenance with vendors and mechanic shops.
  • Oversee and investigate incidents involving guests, Team Members lost and found items.
  • Ensure proper safety and speeding signs are visible throughout the resort.
  • Must be budget conscious and work toward the overall profitability of the resort.
  • Must audit and track driving licenses expiration date, restrictions, medical certification for specialized vehicles.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with staff, management, and guests.
  • Respond to any reasonable task assigned by Director of Transportation.
  • Attends and conducts meetings as required both within the department and within the property’s organizational structure.
  • Ensures transportation Team Members are trained and communicate effectively within the department and with other operating departments.
  • Ensure staffing levels are appropriate for the necessary level of service and ability to react to daily resort operations.
  • Manage Team Members performance through coaching and progressive discipline when necessary.
  • Interact with Resort Operations and Event partners to support specials requests, events, and incidents.
  • Be present in operation, interacting with guests and Team Members, and ensuring quality standards.
  • Ensure Team Members have knowledge of resort operations to answer guest questions.
