Now Hiring:
General Manager – Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. General Manager – Hospitality & Operations

Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. is seeking an experienced General Manager – Hospitality & Operations to lead the day-to-day operations of our two Orlando locations:
Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. and Ivanhoe Park Lager House
.

We are looking for a hands‑on, highly organized hospitality leader who can bring structure, accountability, and consistency to a growing multi-location operation while maintaining the culture and community that have made Ivanhoe Park what it is today.

This is not a brewing or production position. Our brewing and distilling operations are led separately by our Director of Brewing & Distilling Operations. The General Manager will focus on the hospitality and business side of the organization, working closely with department leaders across taproom operations, sales, events, production, and administration.

The Role

The General Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of both Ivanhoe Park locations, developing our managers and teams while establishing the systems, accountability, and processes necessary to operate efficiently and consistently.

This position will serve as the primary operational leader for the company and will work closely with ownership and department leaders to improve execution, guest experience, profitability, and communication across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day hospitality operations across both Ivanhoe Park locations.
  • Lead, coach, and hold managers and staff accountable for performance and execution.
  • Establish clear expectations, responsibilities, and follow-up processes across departments.
  • Maintain a consistently high level of guest experience, cleanliness, service, and facility standards.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, labor management, training, and employee development.
  • Develop, document, and maintain effective SOPs and operating procedures.
  • Improve inventory management, purchasing, product transfers, par levels, and cost controls.
  • Monitor labor, food and beverage costs, inventory, sales, and other key operating metrics.
  • Partner with kitchen and taproom leadership to improve food and beverage execution and profitability.
  • Coordinate with the brewing and distilling team on product availability, releases, inventory, and operational needs.
  • Work closely with Sales & Events to support account growth, events, programming, and revenue opportunities.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, facilities needs, repairs, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Help plan and execute major events, promotions, product launches, and high-volume operating days.
  • Partner with the company’s financial leadership on budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve margins, reduce waste, and operate more efficiently.
  • Develop and monitor meaningful KPIs for managers and departments.
  • Build systems that allow problems to be identified and resolved at the appropriate level rather than continually escalating to ownership.
  • Help create a strong culture of communication, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality operator who understands how to lead people while also understanding the numbers and systems behind a successful operation.
