Job Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) has both administrative and strategic responsibilities, serving as an advisor and partner in the assigned market as part of a matrix team, implementing and administering Human Resources programs or policies for In‑Venue team members. This role balances business objectives with people strategies, ensuring alignment between Operations, Customer Experience, Talent Acquisition, Training, FP&A, Transitions and Specialty Services (Networking and Rigging).

The HRBP will report to and collaborate with the wider Human Resources organization to ensure consistency across the enterprise by leading critical functions such as onboarding, compliance, employee relations, leave administration, performance management, Compensation and Benefits for the assigned market.

Essential Functions
  • Conduct team member onboarding and compliance training initiatives.
  • Provide counsel and support to team members regarding Leave of Absences, Payroll, Benefit plan inquiries and other team member questions.
  • Provide counsel to managers in dispute resolution, employee relations, occupational health and safety, and investigations.
  • Administer DEI&B initiatives, team member engagement and recognition, Compensation, and Benefit plans.
  • Collaborate with leaders to develop team capabilities through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
  • Support annual review cycles, career pathing, and leadership development programs.
  • Identify skill gaps and partner with Learning & Development to support targeted training efforts.
  • Assist in the development of Human Resources policies and change management initiatives.
  • Maintain team member e‑Personnel files and other mandatory paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws and update policies and procedures when necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, Talent Management, and Employment law.
  • Coordinate venue opening and closing activities with various departments and leaders, including Market Director, Strategic Accounts and Transitions; ensure team members are informed, supported and engaged during transitions.
  • Partner with Market Director on talent development and succession planning within and across markets.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, reinforcing Pinnacle Live’s values through communication and leadership alignment.
  • Use HR data and analytics to influence decisions, track trends, and measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Matrix Collaboration
  • Collaborate and influence without direct authority by working cross‑functionally across all matrix roles within the market.
  • Partner with leaders in the market to align HR strategies with market realities to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and counsel to leaders in the market to enhance leadership capability, drive accountability, and support change initiatives.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to functional leaders to inform enterprise strategy.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Will provide leadership and mentorship to personnel in accordance with company policies and applicable federal and state laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, coaching, mentoring, directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
