Orlando Health is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Human Resources to support our Medical Group operations. This role provides direct oversight and partnership with the East Region CHRO, serving as a key driver of HR strategy, operational excellence, and culture across a complex and growing healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to influence across service lines, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and engage effectively with physicians and front-line leaders.
This person will serve as an extension of the CHRO, with visibility across multiple business units and executive leadership.
- Lead day-to-day HR operations, including oversight of 3–4 HR Business Partners and 1 HR Generalist.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to align HR strategy with business needs.
- Drive recruitment and retention priorities, leveraging HR frameworks and data-driven insights.
- Support change management initiatives, particularly related to new service lines and East Coast expansion.
- Educate and coach leaders at all levels, from front-line managers to VPs.
- Navigate complex employee relations issues, especially those involving physician groups.
- Prepare and present HR strategies and updates to executive leadership.
- Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
- SHRM-CP, PHR/SPHR or related certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years in HR leadership or HRBP roles, preferably in a healthcare or medical group setting.
- Proven ability to execute system-level strategy and lead through change.
- Strong interpersonal, consultative, and presentation skills.
- Experience working in multi-site or large-scale operations (13 business units supported).
