LHH is proud to partner with a valued client in the construction and building services sector in search of a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator. This on‑site role is located in Orlando, Florida, and plays a key part in supporting multi‑site payroll processing, benefit administration, and compliance initiatives. Our client is an industry leader focused on operational excellence, people‑first culture, and scalable infrastructure to support long‑term growth.
Key Responsibilities- Process multi‑state, biweekly payroll for up to 300 employees using ADP Workforce Now (WFN), including regular wages, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure proper coding of general ledger accounts and cost centers.
- Manage benefit administration including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), COBRA, and worker’s compensation.
- Act as liaison with benefit vendors to resolve eligibility, claims, billing, and enrollment issues.
- Partner with HR and Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate data entry and payroll funding.
- Administer worker’s compensation claims and support safety reporting processes.
- Support annual benefits open enrollment and partner with leadership on plan optimization.
- Develop, document, and improve payroll and benefit SOPs.
- Stay up‑to‑date on employment laws, tax regulations, and ACA compliance.
- Respond to employee inquiries and serve as subject matter expert for payroll and benefits issues.
- 10+ years of payroll and benefits experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, logistics, or high‑growth environments.
- Required experience in ADP Workforce Now.
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance, cost center accounting, and benefit regulations.
- Hands‑on experience with workers’ compensation claims, state‑specific payroll laws, and benefits program coordination.
- Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and customer service skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (On‑site)
Salary Range: $70,000–$85,000 annually, based on experience
