- Manage the daily operations of the Production Support group.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for production support, including operator training, data center scheduling, installation, restart, and recovery procedures.
- Monitor and report all production outages.
- Perform proactive analysis on factors impacting high availability and service levels.
- Coordinate with IT and business unit personnel.
- Require in-depth knowledge of computer operations, monitoring and control, systems recovery, and production processing control.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of IT experience, including managing teams responsible for production and operations support.
Breadth:
Middle-level management in data center operations. Reports to senior management such as the CIO, Director of Data Center Operations, or IT Executive. Manages and mentors supervisors, project leaders, and technical staff. Handles multiple complex projects as a leader and subject matter expert.
