We are seeking a Java Big Data consultant with expertise in AWS to help build our Data Management Cloud Platform.
Location:Orlando-FT or Seattle, WA
Duration:6 months extendable based on expertise
Interview Process:1 Skype Video Round, 2 Customer Skype Rounds based on expertise
Responsibilities:- Build and enhance the Data Management Cloud Platform
- Work with Java, AWS Cloud, and Big Data technologies
- Automate processes and build CI/CD pipelines
Skills and Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in Core Java, with at least 3 years in Big Data
- Experience with Java, AWS, and Big Data is critical
- Knowledge of Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, Python is optional
- Understanding of Amazon EMR, configuration, nodes, pipelines, and security
Skills:
- Experience with streaming tools, high-availability configurations, and testing
- Knowledge of Kafka, Scala, Java, Python, and Lambda
- Experience with Spark jobs and high-velocity data processing using Spark, Scala, Kafka
