Job DescriptionJob Summary
We are seeking a skilled Power BI/AWS Quick Sight Report Developer to join our data analytics team.
This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI and Amazon Quick Sight.
The ideal candidate will transform data into meaningful visualizations and insights that support informed business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and Amazon Quick Sight
- Create compelling visual narratives that effectively communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Connect to various data sources including AWS Redshift, SQL Server, cloud platforms, APIs, and flat files
- Prepare and transform data using SQL to ensure accuracy and integrity for reporting
- Build visually appealing and interactive dashboards incorporating filters, aggregations, calculations, and advanced features
- Optimize report performance and ensure scalability across different user groups
- Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and business analysts to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Create comprehensive documentation for reports, dashboards, and related processes
- Develop and integrate new or existing applications into the technical infrastructure and business processes
- Provide technical or functional guidance to project or work teams as needed
- Collaborate regularly with Business Systems Analysts
- Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, maintain, and enhance systems to ensure reliability and efficiency
- Proven experience in Power BI development and AWS Quick Sight reporting
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation
- Experience connecting to and working with cloud-based and on-premises data sources
- Ability to design and optimize dashboards for performance and usability
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience with AWS Redshift and other cloud data platforms
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Exposure to enterprise reporting environments and data governance practices
