Position OverviewWe’re seeking a Tier 2 IT Specialist (based in Florida) to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for an individual with MSP experience who enjoys both advanced technical support and hands‑on project work, particularly onboarding new clients into managed services. You’ll work directly with clients to ensure smooth transitions, resolve technical challenges, and help deliver exceptional IT experiences. This position requires regular travel to client sites, so flexibility and professionalism are key.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead and support new client onboarding projects, including system assessments, migrations, and deployments.
- Provide Tier 2 support across Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues remotely and on‑site.
- Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and related infrastructure.
- Configure and manage networking equipment (firewalls, switches, VPNs).
- Document work thoroughly in our ticketing and knowledge systems.
- Collaborate with senior engineers for escalations and with project managers for smooth implementations.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients during onboarding and ongoing support.
- 3–5 years of hands‑on IT support experience, preferably with an MSP.
- Proven success in onboarding new clients, migrations, setups, and infrastructure cutovers.
- Solid experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
- Networking knowledge (firewalls, switches, routing, VPN).
- Microsoft, CompTIA, or Cisco certifications.
- Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, Intune, MDM).
- Familiarity with RMM/PSA tools.
- Security certifications or exposure.
