We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, Florida. This on‑site role is open to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers

Location: Orlando, FL

Salary: $50,003.00 – $76,835.00 (4 hours ago)

• Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for protecting computer networks and information.
• Assess system vulnerabilities, perform threat analysis, and implement safeguards.
• Respond to computer security breaches and viruses.
• Provide Cybersecurity services such as Assess and Authorize (A&A) Computer Network Defense (CND).
• Maintain current knowledge of technological advances relevant to the requirements and provide documented recommendations when appropriate.
• Adapt to evolving cyber threat areas using latest analysis, mitigation, and remediation techniques/tools.

• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Minimum 3 years of experience implementing, upgrading, and monitoring security measures for protecting computer networks and information.
• Experience assessing system vulnerabilities, performing threat analysis, and implementing safeguards.
• B.S. degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related IT degree.
• ISC2 CISSP or similar industry certification required, or a minimum of 10 years of experience and required to obtain CISSP certification within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum Bachelors education required.

Applicants must hold an active DoD Secret clearance or higher and be willing to comply with all security protocols. The contractor will require timely updates of clearance status and participation in ongoing training.
