DSC Programmer

ADP is hiring a DSC Programmer in either our Alpharetta, GA, Parsippany, NJ, Maitland, FLA, or El Paso, TX office. This is a hybrid role.

In this position you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of a data mart as well as all reporting utilizing the data within the data mart for the ADP Major Accounts (MAS) business unit’s Implementation team. This data mart will be developed within the Databricks application. Additionally, the position will provide analysis of key business trends and metrics to support the business that will drive the decision making and process improvement.

This position will be a champion for standardizing and automating internal reports provided within MAS Implementation. You will be a change agent within the business unit’s closed loop administration to ensure accurate and high-quality data is collected and analyzed on a consistent basis. The DSC Programmer will leverage a variety of analytical tools to collect, organize and provide information that is timely, flexible, and responsive to changing business needs.

The programmer is also leading the business unit’s in regards to data sourcing, data integrity and report accuracy with a goal of predictive analytics, reporting and automation flows.

• Develop a data mart using Databricks requiring sourcing of all reporting and analytical data used by the MAS Implementation team
• Create and manage API’s to facilitate a streamlined process to incorporate data into the data mart
• Create strategy to update data with the least impact to speed and performance
• Test for complete data accuracy; monitor data accuracy post go live
• Manage project activities and timelines
• Develop ad hoc inquiries to assist in reporting, categorization and analysis
• Analyze existing client systems, interface requirements, business process and operational needs
• Develop meaningful analytic conclusions and recommend innovative solutions
• Create business requirements based on detailed analysis of business unit needs
• Coordinate and partner with corporate IT organization to ensure alignment to ADP IT infrastructure, goals and strategies
• Develop ad hoc inquiries to assist in reporting and analyses

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience with major area of concentration in computer science, software engineering, computer programming or artificial intelligence
• 5+ years of directly related experience in database development using Databricks, Python, SQL, YAML, Power BI / Power Query

• Demonstrated experience using Databricks, SQL and Python
• Strong leadership, verbal and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work with and communicate across all levels of staff and management
• Proven ability to hit aggressive deadlines with strong project management skills
• Strong attention to detail with zero-defect mindset
• Team player able to build relationships across multiple functions and business units
• Ability to turn data into actionable results
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Strong Excel skills required, including data modeling and ad hoc analysis
