Job Overview

Under supervision and direction, the IT Analyst - New Restaurant Openings (NRO) provides technical support on all IT aspects of new restaurant openings and remodels for all 8 of Darden's brands. The NRO Analyst coordinates with assigned brands and partners with vendors to ensure new restaurants are opened according to schedule and with minimal technical issues.

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Provides technical and operational support for all assigned brands’ new restaurant openings under leadership.
  • Coordinates implementation of IT systems (POS, Table Management, KDS, firewalls, switches, wireless).
  • Performs activities using plans and checklists.
  • Monitors and updates bill of materials and related documentation for accuracy.
  • Evaluates opening and staging processes, seeking automation and standardization.
  • Demonstrates commitment to meeting and exceeding customer needs and Service standards.
  • Partners with Application Development, Infrastructure, and other teams to incorporate new software, hardware, and processes.
  • Works with managers and vendors for prompt service delivery.
  • Monitors and resolves hardware/software incidents with vendors.
  • Keeps abreast of latest hardware and software developments from Restaurant Systems team.
  • Establishes thorough knowledge of systems, processes, and procedures used by the brands.
Required Skills
  • 1+ years of restaurant technology experience.
  • Ability to accurately determine hardware service needs and direct vendors.
  • Understanding of installation, troubleshooting, and escalation processes.
  • Handles multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment with sound judgment.
  • Develops positive relationships with strong customer‑service orientation.
  • Proven ability to achieve results and adapt to frequent change.
  • Self‑starter with initiative to identify and act on opportunities without direction.
Required Education
  • Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
Other Key Qualifications
  • Flexible to support new restaurants opening that may require assistance nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Restaurant Operations Experience.
