Senior Network Engineer

Partners Federal Credit Union (PFCU) is hiring one Senior Network Engineer for either our Florida or California office. Core Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, configure, deploy, and support network and computing systems, including routers, switches, LAN/WAN (video, VoIP, and data), firewalls, wireless access points, cloud networking, and other infrastructure devices.
  • Escalate, manage, and resolve incidents, ensuring full communication with management and customers.
  • Monitor and oversee network performance, capacity, and tuning.
  • Recommend new ideas to enhance network performance, reliability, and support capabilities.
  • Provide level 2/3 support for incidents and daily operations of LAN and WAN systems, perform scheduled maintenance, triage user requests, and track support tickets.
  • Manage service transitions for new deployments, ensuring quality delivery into production.
Technical Expertise
  • VLAN, VRF, STP, HSRP/VRRP, SDWAN, IP subnetting, MPLS, OSPF, and BGP routing.
  • Network automation, configuration management, rule development, policy enforcement, and reporting.
  • Firewall design, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Protocol and network analysis (root cause determination) for application and network performance issues.
  • Design QoS policies, performance metrics, and support procedures for voice, video, and data services.
  • Maintenance of network design packages and documentation (as‑built configurations).
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required; advanced education preferred.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in network engineering.
  • CCNP or equivalent Cisco certification required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills; ability to communicate complex technical details clearly.
  • Experience with configuration management, diagnostic tools, monitoring applications, and performance analysis tools.
  • Capable of working flexible hours, including nights and weekends for upgrades or on‑call support.
Compensation
  • Florida: $94,320 – $141,480 per year.
  • California: $106,560 – $159,840 per year.
Additional Information
  • On‑call support and occasional night/weekend work required.
  • Physical demands include prolonged sitting, typing, and handling small objects.
  • All positions must align with PFCU’s core values and The Walt Disney Company’s Five Keys.
