This is not a standard AV job. This is the control room behind the world’s most jaw-dropping immersive experiences. A trailblazer in show control and large-scale AV system automation is hiring a Product Specialist in Orlando, FL. Their proprietary platform enables high-performing media ecosystems around the world. The Product Specialist will own configuration, customer training, troubleshooting, and deployment support for ISAAC implementations.
This role is perfect for someone who is equal parts technologist and communicator. A builder, a teacher, and a problem-solver who thrives without micromanagement and wants to make a visible impact on high-profile projects.
- Configure customer orders and prepare, build, test, and ship system hardware
- Provide Level 2 platform support, including troubleshooting complex issues and advising customers on best practices
- Deliver structured customer training both virtually and onsite
- Assist with system sizing and specification for new customer projects
- Support onsite deployment and implementation of proprietary systems, which may include domestic and international travel
- Participate in internal system testing in collaboration with the R&D and QA teams
- Provide network or system setup assistance to internal project teams
- Document system configuration, write technical documentation, and contribute to knowledge resources
- Manage your assignments autonomously, communicate clearly and proactively, and ask questions early
- 3 - 4+ years of experience working in AV programming/engineering, media system integration, or software/IT with strong networking fundamentals
- Strong networking and IT knowledge
- Experience configuring and managing hardware systems & storage
- Ability to work with RESTful APIs and interface across complex systems
- Understanding of at least one show-control or media-server platform
- Comfortable training and presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Must be in or willing to relocate to Orlando, FL
- Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally
- Strong organization, self-management, initiative, and ownership
- Programming/scripting a plus
- Windows, Linux, AutoCAD/Vectorworks, MS Visio/Omni Graffle a plus
