Epic HIM Analyst

Epic HIM Analyst – TEKsystems (Contract), Orlando, FL (Remote)

The Epic HIM Analyst will support a backlog of existing work and upcoming projects by configuring, building, and testing Epic HIM applications. The incumbent collaborates with stakeholders, end‑users, and the application team to optimize configurations and resolve issues.

• Serve as the primary support contact for end‑users.
• Initiate design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the Epic HIM application.
• Lead all phases of testing and document workflow designs.
• Analyze clinical work processes for IT impact and validate workflow changes.
• Identify issues, guide resolution, and lead troubleshooting efforts.
• Support junior staff in ticket resolution, application changes, and day‑to‑day operations.
• Collaborate with trainers to develop training materials for new features.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure the application meets business and clinical needs.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, committees, and weekly project meetings.
• Maintain communication with leadership on project status and issues.
• Adhere to client policies, procedures, and safeguard assets.

• Extensive experience with Epic HIM coding and deficiency tracking.
• Certified in Epic HIM Coding and Deficiency Tracking.
• Intermediate skill level with Epic, Epic Resolved, Epic ROI, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.
