We support EY’s business by providing trusted legal advice on managed services, outsourcing, cloud computing, AI, big data, and related technology agreements. The role involves drafting, negotiating, and advising on client‑facing agreements and collaborating across EY’s global teams.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Draft, update, and negotiate Technology & Managed Services Agreements, including SaaS, outsourcing, and systems implementation contracts.
- Advise on legal risks and contractual strategy for managed services.
- Collaborate with U.S. GCO members, local counsel, and cross‑functional teams (Data Privacy, Tax, Information Security).
- Coordinate legal resources and manage workflow in a fast‑paced environment.
- Develop and enhance policies and guidance relevant to managed services.
- Provide training and knowledge sharing on Technology & Managed Services Agreements.
- 4+ years of complex services and technology‑related transactional experience in a client‑facing capacity.
- Expertise in drafting and negotiating Technology & Managed Services Agreements and contracting templates.
- Experience with cross‑border contracting, including data transfer and local country agreements.
- Strong knowledge of data privacy, intellectual property, and technology law.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- High emotional intelligence and resilience.
- Ability to work independently and team‑effectively across functions and locations.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college; J.D. from an accredited law school; active license in a U.S. state.
- Good standing with the State Bar, including continuing legal education compliance.
