System Administrator

System Administrator – We are seeking a System Administrator to support enterprise SaaS solution implementations and core IT infrastructure initiatives. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners to deploy, configure, and support cloud-based applications and Microsoft 365 technologies. The role will play a key part in endpoint security administration, email security management, and assisting with a Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migration.

The ideal candidate has strong systems administration experience, a cybersecurity mindset, and experience supporting cloud-based environments. Pay: $35 - $40/hr

• Support the implementation and ongoing administration of SaaS applications across the organization.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and implementation partners to deploy and configure new technology solutions.
• Assist with the migration of users, mailboxes, and collaboration tools from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Entra  (Azure AD), Teams, SharePoint, and related services.
• Manage and maintain Exchange Online email security policies, spam filtering, phishing protection, and mail flow rules.
• Support endpoint security solutions, including endpoint detection and response (EDR), antivirus, device compliance, and vulnerability management.
• Configure and manage user accounts, permissions, group policies, and identity access controls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, authentication, and email-related issues.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 tenant administration, licensing, and security configurations.
• Implement security best practices, including multifactor authentication (MFA), conditional access policies, and endpoint protection standards.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security events across cloud and endpoint environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system configurations.
• Participate in system upgrades, patch management activities, and technology improvement initiatives.
• Support end users and IT teams during deployment and post-implementation activities.

• 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Administration, or a similar IT role.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online environments.
• Experience supporting SaaS application implementations and cloud-based technologies.
• Knowledge of endpoint security platforms such as Microsoft Defender, Crowd Strike, Sentinel One, or similar solutions.
• Experience with email security, spam filtering, phishing protection, and email administration.
• Understanding of identity and access management concepts, including Active Directory and Entra  (Azure AD).
• Experience working with external vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
