Crime Intelligence Analyst I is a non-sworn position within the Bureau of Insurance Fraud under the Criminal Investigations Division of the Department of Financial Services, located in Orlando. The role involves analyzing criminal intelligence data, conducting research, writing investigative reports, and supporting law enforcement operations. This is an office-based position requiring strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
Key qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years professional experience in criminal justice, law enforcement, investigations, data analysis, or related fields
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid Florida Driver's License by time of employment
- Knowledge of research and intelligence analysis techniques
- Ability to analyze, interpret and summarize criminal intelligence data
- Ability to write reports, investigative summaries and memoranda
