Commercial Lines Account Manager

Overview

Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Commercial Lines Account Manager to their Acentria team. This is a hybrid position based out of any of our FL offices.

Support producer in the development and service of accounts. Provide clients with exceptional service during the policy year; assure successful renewal marketing. Demonstrate support of agency business objectives and be a positive role model and team player. Marketing of new and renewal business is a significant aspect of the day to day duties of this role.

• Market new business as assigned by the producer
• Review and analyze information provided by the producer; secure additional information from client/prospect when necessary; independently make recommendations regarding coverages and exposures; prepare applications in accordance with the agency s automation standards; submit information to carriers and independently negotiate placement
• Work independently of Producers on placement of risk
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients/carriers through daily service of endorsements and general coverage questions
• Use independent judgement to conceptualize solutions for client needs

• Strong organizational, multitask, motivational, problem solving, detail oriented, verbal, written, and self-discipline skills
• Proficient in insurance agency management software (EPIC) and Microsoft products preferred

• Florida 2-20 or insurance license is required
• College degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years agency experience in designated field
