Overview
Vernis & Bowling is AV rated National Insurance defense firm seeking law clerks who can work part-time through the academic year and full-time in the summer to support our Islamorada, Florida Keys office. Clerks will be exposed to many civil litigation defense practice areas. This is a year-round clerk position.
Responsibilities- Work part-time through the academic year and full-time in the summer to support our Islamorada, Florida Keys office.
- Perform legal research
- Review documents
- Draft motions
- Respond to discovery requests
- Assist with general trial preparation
- Currently enrolled in an accredited law school
- Must be physically in the office and able to commute to Islamorada, Florida Keys office
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
