Legal Assistant Paralegal

About the Role

LHH is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join a respected Orlando law practice on a long‑term contract assignment extending into 2026. This role requires a strong background in workers’ compensation matters and the ability to support attorneys in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment. This position is fully onsite and is not hybrid or remote
.

• Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys handling workers’ compensation cases
• Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and filings
• Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and hearing schedules
• Manage case files, organize documentation, and assist with discovery
• Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Perform data entry, billing support, and other administrative duties as required

• 2+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably with workers’ compensation matters
• Strong knowledge of Florida workers’ comp procedures and document preparation
• Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work fully onsite in Orlando on a long‑term contract assignment
