Job Description
You will be the Subcontract Management Senior for the Subcontract Operations Center. Our team drives the creation and execution of high‑impact proposals, safeguards regulatory compliance, and secures major subcontract awards that keep our programs on schedule and on budget.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Subcontract Management Senior you will lead a cross‑functional group of analysts and contract specialists, shaping the end‑to‑end subcontract lifecycle—from opportunity identification through award and performance oversight. You’ll be the go‑to partner for internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring every subcontract aligns with strategic goals and compliance standards.
Your Responsibilities Will Include- Develop, write, and submit winning subcontract proposals that meet technical, cost, and schedule requirements.
- Conduct thorough compliance reviews (DFARS, FAR, ITAR, export controls, etc.) and mitigate any regulatory risk.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with prime contractors and tier 2 vendors to protect company interests.
- Manage the subcontract execution process, including award, modification, and close out activities.
- Monitor subcontract performance metrics, flag issues early, and drive corrective actions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal program managers, engineers, finance, and legal teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce cycle time.
- Stay current on evolving regulations and industry best practices, disseminating knowledge across the team.
