Description
Operations Manager at GRUPO EULEN USA. Manage cabin services operations with primary responsibility for cabin cleaning, scheduling/staffing, budgeted hours, payroll and overtime. Lead staff through objectives, delegation, and effective communication. Ensure service quality and regulatory compliance; act as company representative to meet client and company standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Effectively supervise personnel to ensure optimal performance in cabin cleaning
- Provide leadership to staff through clear objectives, delegation, and communication; conduct staff meetings as required
- Manage day-to-day operations (cabin services) with primary responsibility for cabin cleaning, scheduling/staffing, managing daily budgeted hours, payroll and overtime of the operation
- Ensure personnel are well-trained and informed about policy, procedures, and program changes
- Formulate and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure staffing levels are appropriate
- Promptly and courteously resolve employees’ questions or problems
- Maintain effective communication and coordination between client and company standards
- Act as company representative to ensure service quality meets or exceeds client and company standards
- Keep management informed of issues or significant problems
- Complete related reports accurately and timely
- Attend meetings periodically as required
- Ensure accuracy of staff hours worked/scheduled
- Manage hours information and provide data to time and attendance
- Ensure hours schedule aligns with client’s and company’s requirements
- Comply with labor/wage standards
- Ensure all federal, state, and local posters are accessible to employees
- Maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct toward co-workers, clients, and others at the airport and work location
EXPERIENCE and/or KNOWLEDGE
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- At least 3 years of related work in airport operations
- Ability to speak and understand Spanish and English
- Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures
- Ability to plan, organize, and operate in a dynamic environment
- Excellent writing and communication skills including interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Strong self-organization and self-management with initiative and follow-through
- Must be able to obtain a SIDA Badge from the airport
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
