Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
Summary
This position offers independent contributions to overseeing daily operations at assigned customer locations, responding to multiple client inquiries, ensuring work completion, and accountability to safety regulations. This role requires extensive trade knowledge, the ability to manage vendors and escalations, a cooperative approach with internal and external personnel, and extensive travel.
Job Responsibilities- Develop scope of work, pricing, and assemble proposal.
- Interpret plans.
- Communicate with state and/or local municipalities regarding requirements and codes.
- Ensure schedule adherence with vendors.
- Quality check vendor progress and final work.
- Compose and submit project logs and field reports as directed.
- Analyze expenses to meet budgetary requirements.
- Address and upscale quality issues with corrective actions.
- Advise management of potential delays, interferences, or scheduling conflicts.
- Mitigate liability by acting as liaison between customer and vendor as necessary.
- Interface with architects, engineers, estimating, and vendors to ensure project compliance, budget compliance, and completion time.
- Create and maintain customer relationships to improve customer satisfaction and promote expanded services.
- Engage operations to improve quality, profitability, materials, and utilization of vendors.
- Discover and facilitate contract corrections.
- Reiterate safety protocols to vendors.
- Resolve conflicts as necessary.
- Other duties as required or assigned.

- This position works a fluctuating schedule; overtime will be required.
- This position requires extensive contact with people, and overnight travel will be required.

Speaking, Listening, Writing, Sitting, Keystroke, Crouching, Kneeling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Finger movement, Squatting, Grasping, Repetitive Motion, and Sedentary/Light work, Climbing, requiring lifting up to 50lbs or up to 100lbs with assistance. - Visual Demands:
Visual acuity to perform activities and reading. - Environmental Conditions:
This position is subject to sufficient noise, indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, and temperature changes.
This position has supervisory responsibility.
Education & ExperienceSecondary education with three years’ experience in facilities trade maintenance, or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, is qualifying. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be a road warrior with a valid driver’s license, basic skills in computer use, advanced knowledge of trades, ability to oversee contractors, working knowledge of building codes/regulations, and willingness to expand their knowledge.
