Chief Operating Officer - Non Profit

Next Path Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Chief Operating Officer - Non Profit to join our client’s team in Orlando, FL
. This is an Onsite, Direct Hire position.

SALARY: $175,000 - $225,000 (depending on experience)

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in nonprofit, civic, cultural, philanthropic, education, public-sector, or mission-driven organizations
• 5+ years in senior executive or management roles leading multi-functional teams and complex operations
• Proven experience translating strategy into operating plans, dashboards, KPIs, and measurable results
• Demonstrated success building or enhancing HR, performance management, employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and culture systems
• Strong financial acumen with experience partnering on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation, without ownership of financial functions

• Translate organizational strategy into annual plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes
• Establish and manage organization-wide operating cadences (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
• Oversee HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, policies, and performance management
• Lead enterprise-wide operational systems, workflows, and process improvements
• Spearhead major projects such as office relocation and facilities management
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools for leadership and Board
• Partner with executive leadership to align departmental goals and cross-functional initiatives
• Support organizational technology adoption, system integrations, and data governance
• Collaborate with the CEO and senior team to improve internal execution capacity and organizational effectiveness
• Manage vendor and contract administration outside of financial controls
• Ensure compliance, risk management, and operational excellence across departments
