Description:
You will be the Manufacturing Planner for the Production, Planning and Control team. Our team is responsible for production planning for one of our Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Strike Weapons lines of business. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Planner you will be responsible for driving schedule driven, cross functional planning that fuels high tempo strike weapon programs.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Oversee program planning for Strike Weapons, releasing purchase orders and coordinating with Supply Chain Management to secure needed materials.
* Monitor engineering changes and create or update bills of material to keep data current.
* Track production schedules across multiple manufacturing centers, ensuring on time delivery of components.
* Manage buy planning activities, balancing purchased and Lockheed made parts to support uninterrupted production flow.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Past experience with make, buy, or manufacturing planning experience or related field. Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems and programs including Microsoft office Very good organization and communication skills Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment Possess awareness of lean manufacturing Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance after accepting an offer and before starting the role.
Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) Experience
Desired
Skills:
Degree from an accredited college in the field such as supply chain management, operations management, or have business SAP ERP experience Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business. Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including familiarity with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certifications/experience Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification Demonstrate proficient knowledge in databases, analytics, and KPI development/reporting Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
