Set up, program, and operate machines to produce production parts to required specifications.

• Set up, program, and run various machines
• Program troubleshooting
• Understand and select tooling
• Produce parts within required tolerances and specifications
• Strong understanding of cutter compensating
• Responsible for keeping work area clean and neat
• Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding
• Maintain simple reports such as time sheets and work orders
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Strong communication skills
• Maintain concentration while standing
• Work while standing
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.

• Minimum one to two (1-2) years of machining experience
• Knowledge of lathes, grinding, turning, and multi‑axis machines
• Familiarity with controls such as Fanuc, Milltronics and Prototrak preferred
• Knowledge of programming and use of G & M codes
