Opportunity

We are seeking a Material Handler (Second Shift) to join the Global Supply Chain Warehouse Operations team in Orlando, Florida. The role reports to the Global Supply Chain Senior Manager and Site Lead at CACI, a company that designs, develops, and manufactures advanced systems for military, space, and commercial applications.

Responsibilities

Material Kitting:

  • Perform material kit assembly based on bill of materials (BOM).
  • Assemble material kits specific to Manufacturing Work Orders and/or Non‑Conformance records (NCR).
  • Pre‑stage and stage material kits; deliver kits to designated locations.
  • Verify 100% inventory accuracy of material kits prior to delivery to the manufacturing environment.
  • Execute material transactions in Infor MRP.
  • Conduct regular inventory management including cycle counts, physical inventory, and sweeps.
  • Provide oversight and management of manufacturing work‑in‑progress.
  • Perform material inventory analysis to address obsolescence and life‑limited materials.
  • Drive process discipline and communicate shortfalls effectively.
  • Implement warehouse operations improvements through sorting, sweeping, simplifying, standardizing, and visual controls.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOP).

Packaging, Shipping and Receiving:

  • Execute recurring packaging, shipping, and receiving activities.
  • Package materials according to Engineering requirements, ensuring adequate part protection.
  • Verify inbound material accuracy using purchase orders and bill of lading.
  • Partner with Procurement Operations to resolve inbound receiving discrepancies.
  • Update Infor with physical location and quantities for inbound materials.
  • Handle serialized/LOT controlled materials.
  • Coordinate and schedule outbound shipments with logistics providers.
  • Reduce “dock‑to‑stock” time.
  • Apply visual controls and standard operating procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Document SOPs for ongoing improvement.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with MRP systems (preferably Infor).
  • Experience in inventory management and control.
  • Knowledge of inbound/outbound logistics and packaging.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Three years of experience or five years in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to work the second shift (12 p.m.–11 p.m., Monday–Friday).

Desired:

  • Experience in Aerospace, Defense, or Space industries.
  • Some college education or relevant work experience.
  • Understanding of LEAN principles.
  • Familiarity with serialized/LOT controlled materials.

Pay Range

The proposed salary range for this position is $39,400 – $68,200, with compensation influenced by location, contract category, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
