This position involves performing a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Responsibilities include working from diagrams and drawings, making initial layouts, and using hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. The role also involves making continuity checks on work in process and completed, conducting quality inspections in accordance with specifications, and disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies under simulated conditions.
