    • Verify splice orientation and length per wiring diagram
  • Crimp Operations
    • Perform strip‑and‑crimp using designated crimpers (e.g., RAYCHEM AD‑1377, PICO 400, AMP 91500‑1, ERGO

  • Contact Insertion
    • Insert contacts into military spec connectors and populate empty slots with spare contacts
  • FOD Control
    • Maintain a clean, debris‑free work area at all times; follow internal procedures for tool/part placement and disposal
  • Quality & Inspection
    • Perform in‑process crimp inspections, check your own work, and provide feedback to peers
    • Verify all assemblies against wiring diagrams, part lists, and visual standards before release to downstream MFG/Test
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Provide feedback to HWQEs, MEs, and Manufacturing Engineers on process gaps, tooling wear, and potential defects
Required Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in high‑mix electromechanical assembly (solder, crimp, shrink‑sleeve)
  • Familiarity with IPC/WHMA‑A‑620E, PRM‑01 FOD standards, and wire‑run‑list (WRL) documentation
  • Ability to set up and operate crimpers, soldering stations, heat‑shrink guns, and label applicators
  • Reading

    Skills:

Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and bill‑of‑materials
